END SOCIETY (post-rock/ambient/lo-fi)

End Society is an audio-visual project focused on improvised ritual performances at the intersection of post-rock, dub, tribal, industrial, and dirty electronics.

An integral part of their raw performances is a specific visual element that creates abstract, particulate 3D forms dynamically interacting with light and shadow. These ethereal objects, born in real time, move in harmony with the music, creating fluid, ever-changing, and deeply responsive content.

NOISE FUCKTORY (electro-punk)

https://www.instagram.com/noizefxcktory

A dark pink, queer, alternative music project founded in Prague on a chemical-scented morning in the fall of 2024.

Noise Fucktory’s sound is built on a fusion of guitars, electronic beats, and striking visuals, complemented by lyrics that aren’t afraid to call out the shit in the world and the shit inside us. The instrumental ranges from psychedelic riffs and slower rhythms to hard techno beats and the uncompromising screech of strings. A project that isn’t afraid to be ugly, beautiful, loud, or honest.

CTIB (disco-punk)

https://ctib.bandcamp.com

live: https://youtu.be/acNIUJntq4Y?si=lJ5fozUePoaqha6b

Ctib has his roots in the DIY hardcore punk scene of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. He was part of the group that organized concerts at the Vrah club, and he has played or currently plays in bands spanning genres from hardcore to post-punk—previously in bands like Telefon or Uštkni, and today in Chorobopop.

He was also influenced by pre-November 1989 Czech folk, which was reflected in his early solo period, when he performed with an acoustic guitar as a folk-punk singer-songwriter. Gradually, however, he transitioned to an electronic sound—he began arranging drums, bass, and synths on his computer, and eventually even guitar.

THALIDOMIDE (’80s hardcore/punk)

live: https://youtu.be/XXd8yoJbLJc?si=Wj59sxEW2OYj1Idq

Do you like Black Flag? Dead Kennedys? SSD? D.O.A.? Hüsker Dü? Minor Threat? The Freeze? Nomeansno or Minuteman? That’s good, because Thalidomide loves them too, and it really shows.

The tireless anarchist and radical Kozel has been driving this political hardcore/punk beast since 1993. An incredible number of people have passed through the band over those 33 years, which makes sense—the message is what matters, not the ego. For the past few years, this crew has been operating with more or less the same lineup. Rumor has it that following the cult “black” album (2005) and “yellow” album (2010), Thalidomide is preparing a new album, from which we’ll hear a few samples at Bookfair!

ZAGAMI JERICHO (lo-fi electro live)

https://zagamijericho.bandcamp.com

live: https://youtu.be/WGU44jehDCE?si=9YeW2o-1d2klpTr3

Zagami Jericho is a musician, producer, and singer who moves between dance-electronic and pop. In her work, she combines raw sound, dark club structures, and personal expression with an emphasis on emotion, tension, and the physical experience of music.

At the Anarchist Book Fair, she will be accompanied by her resident DJ Litterbin, and together they will deliver a hypnotic and intense musical experience that defies conventional genre labels. Bring your dancing shoes!

RAW RAVE feat DUST’N’ROAR (techno afterparty)

The Prague sound system Raw Rave is a collective loosely rooted in the 90s freetechno scene and the original UK rave party tradition, while also reflecting current trends in the dance scene. In addition to organizing illegal rave interventions, it also hosts its own club nights. Not to be overlooked is the emphasis placed on the political essence of free dance parties, particularly in terms of anti-authoritarianism and opposition to any form of oppression, whether it be racism, homophobia, transphobia, or sexism. Their mixes feature a blend of post-club music, industrial techno, trap, and gabber hardcore.

For this year’s Bookfair Raw Rave, they’ve invited a fantastic addition—the Berlin collective Dust’N’Roar. This group is a true DIY collective that organizes solidarity benefit events in Berlin and brings together amazing DJs and artists from various scenes and backgrounds. Together, they create unforgettable experiences that transcend scenes, genres, and boundaries!
